Restored in 1971, the Palatine House is a medieval, German style construction built by the Colonists for their minister, Peter Nicholas Sommers, who came to Schoharie County from Hamburg, Germany. Open weekends, Memorial Day through Columbus Day 12-4pm. Spring Street, Schoharie.
